[ Summer Time ] Fun in Moab

Camping for one night, luxury hotel for the next and then Monticello visit to the family for reunion.
First night we camped with the whole fam in a small camp spot but we made it work. Smores of course and lovely stories around the campfire. Mom and Pap slept on a air mattress underneath the stars, windy and a little rain. Lets just say not a good nights rest!
Morning Glory Bridge Hike, beast of a hike but very beautiful!
The next evening we spent the night at the Red Cliff Lodge, great place with a restaurant, vineyard, and museum.
Then we were off to Monticello for two nights, hanging out with family, making homemade ice cream, trying to sleep on the tramp for a night, and lots of YAHTZEE!

settling in St. George

So here we are another year has past.  For the holidays we went and visited Dave's folks in Fort Collins, Colorado for a few days.  Before we went to Colorado we had christmas time with both sides of the family and had amazing food all week.  While we were in Fort Collins and a little of Boulder we went shopping down Pearl St with Jan, Casey, and the folks. The weather was great sun shining and no snow :( We had a good time with Steve's parents in the Crowne Vic, Lisa and I were smooched with Oscar in the back seat with us. Overall a great adventure like always. Before heading back to St. George we went to Vegas for New Year's and visited Jordi, Ashlie, and little Adelade. Relaxed and played ping pong with the Swainstons.
Now we are back in St. George have both the dogs with us now and settling in and looking forward to start school at Dixie State this coming semester.

Story about Oscar
Stephen James found him on ksl whiling he was dinking around.  He talked to the owner, they wanted $1,000 for him. Oscar's a giant schnauzer by the way.  A few weeks went by and Steve got a text from Oscar's owner saying she can't find him a home and felt like we were the ones that he would be happy with. So the next day we drove up to Provo and picked him up.  We have had him ever since the beginning of November.  Oakley and Oscar are bestest buds and get along great.  We are truly blessed to have such great dogs.

time sure does FLY

As a little kid a 5 minute time out seemed like a century and now I swear 5 months go by like 5 minutes.  So many amazing and great events have taken place in our lives.  Kate Irvin (Steve's younger sis) just got married to a lovely boy Matt Gardner on 11/11/11. They had such a wonderful outside ceremony in St. George at this little oasis in Touquerville Utah and let me tell ya Kate looked hot dang. The weather couldn't of been better and for only having 2 months for all the planning everything turned out deluxe. It was so great seeing everyone and catching up on each others lives.

Another incredible thing happened, Matt and Kenz are expecting a little boy (Liam David Irvin) to enter this lovely world just after the new year. Can't wait!!

Hitched on day 25 in MARCH

Crazy goodness happen this day.  Sealed our bums together for all and eternity in the Draper Temple at 10:30 am, my good girl Korea (Kim Ringwood)'s father Michael T. Ringwood performed the ceremony and dang that man did an amazing job.  We had a reception the night before at "This Is The Place" Heritage Park over by Hoogle Zoo. Many memories were made, it was great having both of our families and friends all together to celebrate.  Stephanie Scott aka "Scottie" was classic snaching my bouquet in mid air!! After the temple the wedding party headed over to Old Spaghetti Factory to grub up on some spaghet and it was yum.  Once that nonsense was over we said our good byes and now we are off and this sweet adventure that never ends!!

We would like to say Thank You to all who helped us start our journey...mmm Thanks much.
